We make one thing well: fishing rod holders
RodPerch is a specialist store for fishing rod holders and racks. We don't sell reels, waders, or a thousand lures. We focus on the small piece of gear that keeps your rod safe, your bait in the strike zone, and your hands free.
The idea started on a riverbank. Our lead reviewer, Marcus Hale, spent a spring morning bank fishing with three rods propped against a log. One slid into the mud, one got stepped on, and the third took a fish while he was untangling the first two. That is the exact problem a good holder solves, and it is the reason RodPerch exists. Fishing has never been more popular, and more anglers are fishing from shore and bank where a reliable holder matters most.
What we actually do before a product goes live. We buy the units ourselves, plant and mount them in real conditions, and only stock a holder once it survives a full season of use. For our current lineup we logged more than 40 combined outings across four holder types, on soft banks, gravel, garage walls, and back seats. When a holder has a weak point, we write it into the product page instead of hiding it.
Why holders, and why now
Fishing is one of the largest outdoor activities in the United States, and participation has climbed in recent years. A lot of those anglers are casual and shore-based, which is exactly the crowd a simple, dependable rod holder helps the most. A holder is cheap insurance for an expensive rod, and it turns a single-rod session into a multi-rod one.

We built our catalog around the four situations anglers actually face. The automatic spring fishing rod holder is our flagship for bank and shore fishing, because it plants in the ground and sets the hook on its own. The fishing rod rack handles storage on a garage wall or ceiling. The portable fishing rod holder is a folding stand for anglers who carry several rods to the water. The fishing rod holder for car keeps rods secure and tangle-free on the drive there.
Our mission
Our mission is narrow on purpose: to be the store anglers trust for rod holders. That means clear specs, honest ratings, real buyer photos, and guides that help even if you never buy from us. Our bank fishing holder guide and our walkthrough on how to hold a fishing rod are written to be genuinely useful first and commercial second.
Honest by default
Every rating on this site comes from a verified buyer of the exact product, and we publish the unedited photos they send. When a budget holder has a limit, we name it on the page before you reach checkout. Our ratings sit between 4.5 and 4.9 rather than a perfect 5.0, because that is what the real feedback shows. You can see the raw feedback on our reviews page, and the full method on how we test.
